The City of Subiaco is inviting public comment on an application for alterations and additions to existing buildings and new four storey Office building addition, at the above address.

This application meets the criteria for a Development Assessment Panel application under Regulation 5 of the Planning and Development (Development Assessment Panels) Regulations 2011 and will be determined by the Metro West Joint Development Assessment Panel.

The application is being readvertised on the basis of the decision by the Metro-West Joint Development Assessment Panel to defer the application and give the applicant the opportunity to amend the proposal to address a number of matters including solar access, building bulk and retention of trees. The proposal has been amended to include a greater southern setback, but an additional storey.

The Development Assessment Panel (DAP) is an independent decision making body comprising independent technical experts and elected Local Government representatives. DAPs are able to determine certain development applications in the place of the original decision making authority, being the local government in this case. For further DAPs information click here. Enquiries relating to DAPs should be made through the DAP Secretariat on (08) 6551 9000 or via e-mail to daps@planning.wa.gov.au.
